Super Mario Series 5 Characters – Round 2

Still only 8 characters to the complete set. The previous attempt of 29 blind boxes resulted in a bunch of dups and yet still missing one character. ONE!

Lets try this again…

24 boxes for this round. Fingers crossed that we can hopefully find the single character that was missing from round 1, the elusive Purple Toad. Box number one had already been opened, which isn’t a good sign….

Uh, that is a Purple Toad! First box is a WIN! Sweet!

That means, we can do this:

Full set baby!

Box two revealed another win in a Hammer Bro. Three was a Toady. Stupid Toady.

Interestingly, out of 24 boxes across 2 orders of 12, here is the tally this time:

4x Toady (Stupid Toady!)

4x Red Yoshi
4x Waddlewing

I’ve heard talk that if you can find a new box, the characters are always in the same spot. So now this notion of the store having 4 boxes open and they just grabbed the same box position out of each box is in my head. Or black magic, it could be that too.

Either way, finding Purple Toads and Hammer Bro sets was awesome.

And now we have more stupid Toady. Toadys? Toadies? Toadi?

Goofy propeller, creepy and … mesmerizing eyes! I’m getting sleepy. Toady is the greatest! All hail Toady!
